Semiware recently announced the launch of a new series of protected ceramic gas discharge tube products, which adopt a smaller package that is more suitable for rapid patching while maintaining surge absorption performance. The product’s ability to handle very high surge currents, its very high off-state insulation resistance, and its low capacitance make it a unique protector or an early stage in multi-level circuit protection designs. The entire series of products has passed UL certification, certificate number E505857.
