Summary
A microphone (MIC) is an energy conversion device that converts sound signals into electrical signals. The standard signal maximum value of a MIC circuit is typically 5.5Vp-p, with a maximum frequency below 10kHz. At this frequency, the capacitance of the suppressor does not need to be considered. As a device that comes into contact with the human body, the interface of a MIC is susceptible to ESD (electrostatic discharge) hazards.
