Product Description
BTA26-600CW is a three-terminal thyristor (Triac), which is commonly used for switch control in AC circuits, especially in applications such as dimming, speed regulation, and temperature control. Its main function is to control the on and off of AC current and regulate the flow of current by controlling its trigger terminal.
Working Principle
BTA26-600CW usually has high current and voltage carrying capacity and can withstand large loads, so it is widely used in home appliances, industrial equipment, etc. Its working principle is similar to that of a transistor, but unlike ordinary transistors, Triac can conduct current in both directions of the AC cycle, so it can handle bidirectional AC current.
